Changed your mind? You have 15 days from delivery to tell us; return it unused and in its original packaging with any tags still attached, and we’ll arrange your refund.

Arrived damaged or not quite right? Email hello@thepetassembly.co.uk within 5 days of delivery with a description and a photo or two – depending on the fault we’ll either ask you to send it back to us or arrange a replacement or refund from your images.

Tested by Gem, our Chief Collar & Lead Tester – a fox red Labrador with firm opinions about who is walking whom. The rope passed her pull test on the lane without a hint of give, and the woven reflective thread lit up neatly under a head-torch on a dark early walk. The tan leather loop handle stayed warm and comfortable in the hand through a long woodland loop, and the harness went on over the head and adjusted in seconds with no rubbing at the shoulders. In the workshop the buckles and snap-hook were clipped and unclipped a hundred times over and held firm.

Her verdict: the lead-of-choice for the proper walks.

Lead: hand-braided nylon rope with a woven reflective thread, 120cm long

Handle: tan vegan-leather (super-cellulose) loop handle – smooth rounded leather loop at the top of the lead

Harness: soft webbing with vegan-leather trim, silver side-release buckles and adjustable sliders

Hardware: trigger snap-hook and rings in metal

Care: wipe clean with a damp cloth and air-dry – do not machine wash
