Tested by Kimi, our Junior Feline Tester – an adult male blue-grey Chartreux with a dense plush coat and copper-gold eyes that assess new objects with consistent professional detachment. The Petal Bed in Green S (40×40cm) was placed on the sitting-room floor on a Thursday afternoon. Kimi circled it once, stepped into the centre and sat down. He remained inside it for the entirety of Thursday evening, which is a faster result than most beds achieve. The petal walls held upright without assistance across the full trial and provided clear wind protection on all sides; Kimi was observed resting his chin on the top of one petal on four separate occasions, which suggests he finds them structurally adequate. The bed was folded flat and machine-washed at the end of week one; it returned to full shape after air-drying without any loss of petal fill or cushion loft.

His verdict: he was in it before it had been on the floor for ten minutes, which is, for Kimi, an endorsement.
