The Ortho Bed has an egg-crate foam core that distributes a dog’s weight evenly across the whole surface, relieving pressure from joints and bones – which matters more as a dog gets older and more as a dog gets larger. The removable cover is reversible: the velvet side is soft and warm for cold weather; the smooth side is cooler for summer. The whole cover unzips and goes in the machine.
