Tested by Woody, our Head of Large Breed Testing – a 6-year-old male Great Dane whose sheer scale makes bag quality a material concern. The Eco Poo Bags in 270 bags were tested across four weeks of daily morning walks. The extra-wide opening opened cleanly on every pull and was wide enough to be used one-handed with a lead in the other, in the dark, while wearing gloves – all three simultaneously on one occasion. The 0.013mm walls showed no leak or split across the full trial period. The lavender scent was detectable at close range; not overpowering. Three bags were tested underwater in a sink to check the leak-proof claim; all three held. The biodegradable material was confirmed on the supplier certificate; please retain for your own records.

His verdict: Woody did not review the bags directly, but the walks were cleaner and the handling was more manageable, which represents a measurable improvement over the control group.
